At the Salem Saturday Market we had a first on Memorial day weekend. Not a high-five, fist bump kind of first, but a an oops kind of first. We ran out of savory crêpe batter. In four years, after thousands of crêpes and hundreds of events, that had not happened.
Crêpe batter takes time, it has to rest to be happy. Can’t just reun back to the kitchen and mix it up. So we stepped up the game! We’re now making humonguous quantities of batter.
We hope to never say “Sorry, we’re out of batter” again!
